The head of the Tomahawk Condor ax is made from forged 1060 high carbon steel. The blade has a sharp edge used for striking and cutting.
The blade of this small hatchet is heat treated and annealed to approximately 50-55 Rockwell hardness and a Condor Classic finish. This finish is an advanced process of hand hammering with a sharp wire, and gives a classic, enhanced look to a well-made tool.
Condor artisans used traditional equipment to make this model and give it the appearance of an ax entirely hand forged more than 200 years ago.
The Classic series is a hit with historic camping enthusiasts, mountaineers and historical war re-enactors from the colonial period. The burnt American hickory handle is strong and gives the tomahawk an original antique look.
The included scabbard is made of high quality and durable handcrafted leather.
It is one of the best tomahawks for throwing and striking back during conflicts of conquest in the United States.
