The knives in this collection are made to the same quality standards and attention to detail as Cold Steel® Japanese classics, except they are forged from premium American CPM 3V steel instead San Mai® steel.
These strong, reliable blades have been honed to an incredible sharpness. The handles are made from Kray-Ex™ and each knife comes with a Secure-Ex® sheath.
American steel CPM 3V
This modern tool steel may be a little more expensive, but it is surprisingly sturdy and extremely wear-resistant. This is a fine grain powder steel. Thanks to its very uniform microstructure, it offers first-rate impact resistance and high edge retention, even with very fine cutting edges. It is a perfect steel for large blades that require extreme strength.

Ultra sharp blade
Like all other Cold Steel products, this awesome knife is built like a battleship. It is razor sharp and can easily shave hair and will stay sharp all the time, only requiring an occasional 'touch up'.
The scabbard is also very sturdy.
Balanced blade
If you place it on its side, it balances on the tsuba. Neither the blade nor the handle touches the ground. And if you spin it on a smooth surface, it spins like a top. This is one of the most balanced blades I know.
