Micro Reflex 407K X2 red dot - Holosun

The Holosun 407k is a small, very durable reflex sight. In fact, because it's so similar to 507k, you get all the same durability features.

The Holosun 407k also has a very clear lens that allows you to get a sharp sight picture.

But when we start talking about the reticle, that's where things start to change. The 407k has a fixed 6 MOA reticle.

I think the 6 MOA reticle is a good compromise in terms of precision when aiming and speed when taking aim.

And honestly, since this optic is going to be placed on a single stack concealed carry pistol, 6 MOA is a good size because if you ever have to use your gun for self-defense, the shooting distance will probably be very close.

So overall I think the 6 MOA dot is a good reticle, but it's the only option when it comes to the 407k.

This model has a 6 MOA red dot reticle. This viewfinder offers the possibility of adjusting the brightness thanks to its 12 settings, the two lowest settings are compatible with night vision. No matter the surrounding brightness, you should be able to find a setting that suits the environment without problems.

The Holosun 407k has the same battery life and brightness characteristics as the 507k. It also uses a CR1632 battery which powers the viewfinder for up to 50,000 hours (at setting number 6)...

On top of that, it also has the side-loading battery drawer, which allows you to change your battery (when the time comes) without having to remove your optic from the slide of your weapon.

And it has the Shake Awake function, which allows your viewfinder to automatically turn off and turn on automatically as soon as the optic detects movement.

The 407k also has 10 daylight brightness settings that get very bright at the higher end, and two night vision settings for use with night vision equipment
