The Beretta APX blowback BB semi-automatic pistol is another ultra realistic replica from Umarex USA. Originally designed to replace the Beretta M9, the standard weapon of the US armed forces, but deemed too expensive for the Department of Defense, Beretta retired the APX and chose to modify the M9.
As a result, the civilian world benefited from the ability to purchase a standard pistol that was "too standard" for the military.
The Umarex APX is constructed with a polymer frame and metal slide and features a true double-action trigger. Accessories can be easily mounted on the front Picatinny rail, giving the user a real-world training tool or backyard pistol.
