Thanks to the excellent characteristics of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is retained and distributed efficiently. The pre-treated (seasoned) surface eliminates the need for initial seasoning and the robust cast iron pot can be used immediately. Outdoors, it is used over an open fire or with coal and briquettes. Thanks to the raised edge of the lid, embers and coal can be placed on the cast iron pot. The pot is thus heated on all sides and therefore also allows, for example, bread to be baked.

The pot is equipped with refined elements that make handling easier and provide you with a magnificent culinary experience. A sturdy handle allows the pot to be lifted safely and a thermometer hole allows you to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. If you want to lift the hot lid, nothing could be simpler thanks to the Petromax Lid Lifter. Another original aspect is the fact that the lid can also be turned over and used as a frying pan.
