The Viper scope with a 6.5-20x50 magnification from Vortex is a second focal plane scope. It has extra-low dispersion (HD) glass, which improves color resolution and provides a sharper image. The optics also feature a multi-layer coating increasing the transmission of light through the glass and also covers the glass with an anti-reflective coating, so as not to be blinded by light rays.
The tube diameter is estimated at 30mm in diameter for internal adjustment and increased strength. It has been constructed in a single piece for excellent alignment of materials and therefore precision as well as increased visual performance. Its construction from Aluminum is solid and rigid while being waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Its structure has been anodized to provide durability as well as an anti-reflective matte black surface that camouflages the shooter, its ArmorTek coating also protects against scratches that may be caused on the glass.
The turrets as well as the focus are easily accessible and usable. The choice of high quality components has not been neglected to provide unparalleled ease of adjustment. Finally, magnification and focusing are easy and quick.
