Thanks to the redesigned HD optical system, the mounting platform now has a reduced length and weight. A shooter's dream has always been to get an optic like this and it looks like that dream has come true with the new Spitfire HD Gen II 3x and 5x models. Opt for the best magnification and mounting height thanks to these models , subsequently you can also count on the BDC (bullet drop compensation) style reticle for remarkable tracking of the target at medium distances, but above all in order to compensate for the ball drop.
This prism optic is located between red dot sights and LPVO (Low Power Variable Optics), this model is more for tactical use. These products are generally fixed magnification optics and are more intended for the bolt action or semi auto rifle market.
Regarding the x3 Prism Spitfire HD Gen II riflescope, it offers incredible lightness explained by the fact that prism optics are the lightest and smallest on the market, so this model was no exception to the rule. It has an AR-BDC4 reticle which happens to be engraved on the glass. This one looks like a illuminated circle 3/4 and "unclosed", as you will see in the images provided, forming a dome around the central 1 MOA dot and the graduation reticle. This scope has 12 reticle light intensity settings to adapt your equipment to any environment. To inform you that you have reached the highest or lowest settings, the crosshairs will flash 3 times. In addition, 2 settings are compatible with night vision.
The adjustment buttons and turrets are recessed into the device and the parameters can be modified using 1MOA adjustments. This model offers a bright and exceptionally clear image. After numerous tests, the x3 Prism Spitfire HD Gen II seems to be effective on 300m shots and close range shots.
