This Norica scope has a variable zoom between 3 and 9 times, making it perfect for shooting up close and far. The 3-9x40 scope is a mid-range scope and is best suited for Nitro or IGT style spring or piston air rifles. The use of this scope is not recommended on rifles over 36 joules
