The Simplex Gouze Metal slingshot is a slingshot with two tubular elastics, it is the simplified version of the Liteul Gouze Target, the difference is the absence of wrist rest.
You can fire terracotta or steel balls of 6.35 millimeters and 9.52 millimeters, but also stones, which gives you the possibility to adapt the ammunition to the target, using the largest balls for big targets . And if you ever run out of ammo, you can always use smooth stones.
The elastics are made of hollow tube which gives them greater resistance, they are inserted on the metal branches. The handle is made of sturdy plastic.
Its sober and simple style gave it the name Simplex, the name Gouze comes from the legend Gregory O. who used a slingshot of this type and rolling balls to kill geese and ducks to feed his family.
Well, that's what the legend says...
Apart from that, Gregory O. alias la Gouze in relation to his talents as a goose killer is one of the finest slingshot shooters in Upper Brittany.
He also used the slingshot with wrist rest to reach Orangina cans in sniper mode.
