The TM28 is a compact flashlight that can illuminate over a long distance thanks to its high power with a scale of 6000 lumens. It can reach depths of up to 2m at sea, it is perfect for search, rescue and outdoor activities. The lamp is also equipped with an OLED screen which allows you to monitor information in real time (autonomy, activated brightness level, lamp temperature, etc.).

The Tiny Monster 28 is equipped with 4 CREE XHP35 HI LEDs which offer an optimal power of 6000 Lms which can illuminate over a distance of 655 meters. Its practicality, compact format and design allow it to fit on the base of its handle. The TM28 lamp can only be used 100% when equipped with 4 18650 IMR batteries with a capacity of 3100mAh.

Nitecore's rechargeable TM28 was called "Tiny Monster" because of its compact size, which despite this did not prevent it from being equipped with such phenomenal power, up to 6000 ANSI lumens.
To show you how powerful it is, it is equivalent to the amount of light produced by two car headlights. This lamp uses 4 latest generation Cree XHP35 Hi LEDs and is powered by four standard 18650 or IMR type batteries. You also have the option of pairing it with the NBP68HD battery. If you ever have to face an emergency situation, the lamp can still be used with only an 18650 type battery.

The beam of the TM28 has been designed so that it can illuminate a wide lighting angle. However, its range has not been neglected since this lamp can illuminate up to 655 meters.
The Tiny Monster is also equipped with an innovative two-step button.

Charging port
Charges via the supplied wall charger. The lamp automatically detects the status of the batteries and selects the appropriate charging mode (CC/CV). Full charge takes 7 hours.

Intuitive interface
The TM28 is equipped with a multifunction OLED screen.
When the lamp is turned on, the screen successively displays real-time information (Brightness level → Battery level → Battery life → internal temperature → standby) with a delay of 1.8 seconds between each data. The mode name is displayed, even if it is a special mode.

Lockdown
When the TM28 is on, press the switch all the way in and hold for more than 1 second. The lamp will turn off and enter “Lockout” mode. Simply press the switch and hold for more than 1 second to exit Lockout mode. Batteries can last 12 months in lockout mode.

Daily and Turbo modes
Daily Mode: This mode contains 4 intensity levels, press the switch halfway to select a very low, low, medium or high brightness level. The chosen brightness level will be memorized when the lamp is turned off.
Turbo mode: When the TM28 lamp is lit in Turbo mode, presses up to halfway alternate between strong and very strong modes. Hold the button to turn the light on "Turbo", releasing the button the light turns off.

Activation
When the TM28 is off, pressing the switch halfway activates Daily mode. Pressing the switch all the way activates Turbo mode. The TM28 lamp is turned off by pressing the switch all the way.

Battery choice
Each time you install the battery, a battery list will appear on the OLED screen, select the appropriate battery type by pressing the display button and press the power switch to confirm:

• Li-ion. Rechargeable Li-ion batteries allowing a maximum output of 4500 lumens.
• IMR. High discharge Li-ion batteries allowing a max output of 6000 lumens.
• Pack. NBP68HD, Optional battery allowing a maximum output of 6000 lumens.

If no action is taken for 10 seconds after installing the battery, the OLED display will enter sleep mode.

ATR (Advanced Temperature Controller)
With the advanced temperature regulation module, the TM28 regulates its light output and adapts to the ambient environment, maintaining optimal performance.

Battery display
Each time the battery is changed, the lamp emits a light signal to indicate the battery voltage. For example, when the battery has a voltage of 3.4V the lamp flashes 3 times, a pause then again 4 times.

• When the lamp is on, the blue indicator light flashes to indicate the remaining battery:
• When the batteries are full, the indicator stays on.
• When the batteries reach 50%, the indicator flashes every 2 seconds.
• When the batteries reach 10%, the indicator flashes quickly.

Note: When the TM28 is turned off, press the display button and the battery voltage will be displayed for 10 seconds. This product incorporates a voltage sensitive protection device, when the voltage falls below a certain threshold, the output will gradually decrease to the lowest level. When the voltage drops below 3V, the product shuts down to protect the batteries.

Loading
“charging…” is displayed on the OLED screen along with the battery voltage every half-second. If a problem is detected while charging the TM28, the indicator light will flash quickly and the OLED screen will display “ERROR Generally this is due to incorrectly inserted or unsuitable batteries or flat-top batteries installed without the battery connector.

Full charge
When charging is completed, the blue indicator light will stay on and “CHG.FINISHED” will be displayed on the OLED screen. Fully charging four 18650 batteries takes approximately 7 hours.

3 special modes: strobe, SOS, location beacon
When the TM28 is turned on, press the switch twice in succession to access turbo mode, press the button several times to cycle through the strobe - SOS - location beacon modes. Press the button to turn off the lamp.

Thermal protection
The TM28 has temperature regulation, when the operating temperature reaches 60° Celsius (maximum temperature bearable by human skin), the TM28 automatically lowers its output to prevent the temperature from increasing.
Note: When the lamp is hot, do not attempt to cool it by immersing it in liquid. Due to the difference between internal and external pressures, the TM28 lamp could suffer irreparable damage.

Precision Digital Optics Technology (PDOT)
Tailor-made design for research and hunting benefits from a large reflector and an optical system associated with a crystal coating, all equipped with “Precision Digital Optics Technology” (PDOT).
