The Klarus XT12GT lamp is a powerful and innovative lamp equipped with two switches as well as a Cree XHP35 Hi D4 LED.
This lamp has 4 lighting modes, strobe mode and a maximum light output of 1600 ANSI Lumens.
It is controllable with one hand, you will only need your thumb thanks to the innovation of the double switch in the rear cap of the lamp. This XT12GT features a removable stainless steel bezel. The TRS1 remote switch is also compatible with the XT12GT.
The user interface is very intuitive, full power mode is activated every time you press the main button, there is no memory so no chance of activating low mode in a close combat situation.
Strobe mode is removed from the main modes (high – medium – low), but can be activated from any mode, even when the lamp is off.
Performance: The Klarus XT12GT provides 1600 ANSI Lumens and its electronic regulation maintains a constant high brightness. The 1600 Lumens mode is constant for 1.2 hours.
Protection: Integrated protection circuit against polarity inversions and against mishandling of batteries. It is waterproof, resists immersion up to 2m and resists dust thanks to the IPX-8 standard.
Tactical: Crenellated bezel on the front and double control button on the back with momentary activation. No need to juggle 2 buttons in 2 different places. Only one hand to control the different modes and very good grip even in the dark.
Operating mode:
By default, Tactical mode is activated. However, you can select Outdoor mode if you wish.
To change mode, with the lamp off, hold down the Mode button (large button) until the charge indicator flashes red and green alternately. Then without releasing the mode button, press the ON/OFF button. The change is complete.
Operation of Mode 1 Classic Tactical “Tactical Setting” : (three intensity levels + Strobe mode)
Press the rear ON button completely to turn the lamp on in turbo mode and do the same to turn the lamp off. If you do half a press you will be in momentary mode and when you release the button the lamp will turn off.
When the lamp is off, press the rear mode button to activate strobe mode.
If you hold it down for less than two seconds the lamp will turn off when you release the button and otherwise the strobe mode will remain active. Press again to exit the strobe and turn off the lamp.
When the lamp is on, hold down the mode button to activate the strobe.
When the lamp is on, simply press the mode button to change the lighting levels (Turbo/High/Low).
Operation of mode 2 Outdoor: (four intensity levels + SOS mode)
Press the rear ON button completely to turn the lamp on in turbo mode and do the same to turn the lamp off. If you do half a press you will be in momentary mode and when you release the button the lamp will turn off.
When the lamp is off, press the rear mode button to activate low mode.
If you hold it down for less than a second the lamp will turn off when you release the button and otherwise the low mode will remain active. Simply press the button to switch between the following different lighting levels: (Low/Medium/High/Turbo). Press for 1 second to turn off the lamp.
When the lamp is on, press the mode button to switch to the following different lighting levels: (Turbo/High/Medium/Low).
To recharge the lamp , connect the lamp to the magnetic micro USB cable. Then plug the USB cable into a source such as computer, cigarette lighter, Power Bank, etc.
You can only magnetically charge 18650 type batteries.
You will not be able to recharge CR123 batteries directly in the lamp.
The charging time for a 3600mAh battery is 3600 = 3.6H for a charging current of 1000 mAh.
Remaining battery indicator:
A remaining battery level indicator is present in the side button:
From 100 to 70% it will be green
From 70 to 30% it will be orange
From 30 to 10% it will be red
From 10 to 0% it will be red and flash
Charging indicator:
While charging, the indicator is red.
When charging is complete, the indicator is green.
If there is a problem, the indicator is orange and flashing.
Smart ITS temperature control:
In Turbo mode the lamp accumulates a lot of heat, the temperature control allows you to adjust the brightness in real time depending on the internal temperature of the lamp. This protects the LED and prevents the lamp from overheating.
