Its small size and lightness make it easy to use: these are the main characteristics of this Nitecore NU05MI. The switch is easily accessible and can also be operated with one hand.

Thanks to the carrying support it has on its back, the NU05MI can be attached to clothing, backpacks, pockets and MOLLE systems.

Useful as all light points during nighttime activities, it can be used for cycling or jogging and in general to be visible in the dark. It is specifically suited to tactical applications thanks to the two IR LEDs which, once switched on, cannot be seen with the naked eye and can only be intercepted by night vision devices.

The Nitecore NU05MI can be installed quite easily on the wrist, on the arm, on the collar of special unit dogs, and can also be placed on the back of the neck to be visible from behind. The integrated battery with which the NU05MI is equipped ensures an optimal autonomy of 20 hours if used with the flashing green LEDs. With fixed light, autonomy is 6 hours.

It is a tactical and emergency headlamp which is always ready for use and can be used as a Locator, as a simple point of light and to illuminate very short distances.

The NU series was specially created for military operations, the NU05MI is a mini signal light available with IR light (940nm wavelength) and green light with 4 modes in total. It can be attached to the helmet for operations in dark and hostile environments to enable rapid identification or localization on different team members combined with night vision devices.

The hook-and-loop feature on the back ensures secure and reliable attachment to the helmet or K9 (police dog) outfit. The slots on both sides can also optimize fixation by securing the headphone cord to prevent accidental loss due to shaking. The continuously lit, flashing green lights are capable of indicating the position of different groupings or allowing rapid identification of team members.

One-button interface is convenient, the NU05 MI is designed with a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery to enable up to 20 hours of battery life and constant power supply via USB. The body is constructed with strong and durable PC materials with an ultra lightweight and compact design.

This lamp has an intelligent charging system, please charge the battery before first use.

Charging indicator

The red indicator is on while charging, the green indicator is on when charging is completed.
Charging time is approximately 1h30.
When fully charged, the theoretical maximum standby time is 1 year.

Mode indication

The NU05 MI lamp has 4 modes: IR flash, IR beam, green flash, green beam. The red indicator informs you that you are in IR mode (invisible to the naked eye).

NU05 MI mode

Enabling IR Flash Mode
Red Indicator: Flashes quickly and continuously for 3 seconds before turning off (a short press of the switch to indicate operating status again)

Turning off IR flash mode

IR beam activation
Red indicator: Continuously lit for 3 seconds before turning off (short press the switch to indicate the working status again)

ON/OFF

When the lamp is off, press the switch to turn it on. Press again to turn off.

Mode selection

When the lamp is on, press the switch quickly to cycle between “IR flash – IR beam – green flash – green beam”. Release to confirm the choice. (Please change mode before the light goes out when you are in IR mode.)

Charging indicator

When the lamp is off, quickly press the switch and the charge indicator will flash slowly to indicate the battery charge level:
3 times means the battery is over 50%
2 times means the battery is below 50%
1 time means the battery is less than 10%

Warnings

1. Charge the battery before first use
2. Recharge the battery every 3 months when stored for a long time.
3. The product contains small parts. Do not allow children to be carried to avoid any danger or risk of suffocation.
4. Do not disassemble, modify or rebuild the product, otherwise the warranty will be voided or the product may be damaged.
