The Soldier's Targe - Cold Steel
This is a polypropylene training shield . By popular demand, the Cold Steel brand decided to design and develop this shield. Although very similar to another medieval shield from Cold Steel, this round shield is approximately twice as large and is just as strong and reliable.
Suitable for training with all swords that are not steel, it is sure to provide years of hard service .
Note: Do not use for training against metal weapons . Always wear eye protection and appropriate equipment when training.
The Cold Steel Medieval Soldier Targe Shield is a replica of the medieval pitched battle shields used by dismounted soldiers, here we have a polypropylene version with modern materials.
In response to numerous requests from its customers, Cold Steel® has added the Soldier's Targe to its range. This round shield (called Targe or Tartsche) closely resembles the medieval shield from Cold Steel® (ref. 92BKPB), it is just as stable and reliable, but it is approximately twice as large.
The shield is suitable for training swords but not steel blades and can withstand years of heavy use.

Time limit :

Ce bouclier résistera à toutes les armes usuelles pour un bref engagement. Moitié poids d'un tout métal et moitié prix d'un Force de l'ordre. J'aime son opacité qui cache mon autre main ... Je l'ai acheté pour la défense du domicile. L'intrus sera fort surpris de se trouver en face d'un bouclier : il faut profiter de cet instant de stupeur. Donc en dehors du côté purement défensif,l'idée est de le lever vers sa face pour oblitérer sa vue et frapper aux jambes avec mon arme. Ceci évite en principe les blessures mortelles tout en le mettant hors de combat.
