Hachette Hudson Bay Camp
This clever hatchet is a direct descendant of the Hudson Bay camp ax , it is the same model but in mini format . More practical , more compact .
However, it is still large enough for considerable cutting and slicing . It is a perfect accessory/tool to take with you during all outdoor activities.
It shares the same clamp-type locking system as the Hudson Bay camp ax and is equipped with a blade shape that has proven itself for several centuries now, in terms of efficiency and versatility .
Steel 1055
The carbon content and minimal alloying of this surface hardening steel make it a very strong material which largely reduces the fragility of the tool. It is a material, particularly suited to blades requiring increased impact resistance , often used for large fixed blades and swords.
Interchangeable blade!
Thanks to its patented clamping system, all you have to worry about is replacing the damaged or broken handle. Then, loosen the nuts, extract the worn handle, and replace the head of the ax on a brand new wooden handle by tightening the screws.
