Perfect for the outdoor adventurer, this compact all-conditions ax offers great utility and a surprising addition. With a longer handle than the original and a forged steel head, the Gator ax has optimal striking force.
The Gerber Gator Combo ax is a combination of a powerful ax that fits perfectly in the hand and a fixed knife that fits into the ax handle. Both the ax and the knife are covered with the famous Gator Grip (structured rubber), which allows the user a comfortable and secure grip and therefore perfect control.
Beneath this textured, pleasant-to-the-touch rubber surface lies a virtually indestructible fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle. The blade can be slid back into the handle cavity and is held in place by a magnet.
The head of the Gerber ax is made of forged steel, which gives this tool very high quality. The Gerber Gator Combo Ax also comes with a high-quality nylon sheath .
