TA Defense® Panzer 500™ Bulletproof Vest

The TA DEFENSE Panzer 500 bulletproof vest is composed of a Cytac brand polyurethane plate holder and two Swedish AR500 armored steel plates meeting the VPAM7-2 standard . The plates are provided on the front with their classic 3 mm polyethylene coating to protect against splinters.

The warhead crashes into the armored steel plate, which prevents it from passing through the plate; the coating allows it to absorb shards of lead, copper and steel warheads.

The plate is marked "SF" (Strike Face) which must be worn outwards. The back side is covered with 1mm PU coating and should be worn against your body.

Plates made from Swebor 500 are low alloy ballistic protective steel. The low carbon and manganese content, combined with carefully controlled hot heat treatment, gives the plates making up the TA Defense Panzer 500 vest an excellent combination of hardness and resistance to ballistic protection capacity ratio.

This steel is even used in most protective applications, i.e. civilian armored vehicles (limousines, SUVs or trucks), cash-in-transit vehicles,
police cars, security doors and walls, bank tellers, because Swebor 500 has excellent ballistic protection with high hardness and strength, while remaining easy to work with.

Cytac Plate Holder

Designed to provide breathable, flexible and comfortable support for missions, the mission-oriented Cytac® Plate Carrier is constructed of superior flame-retardant 500D and 1000D nylon. It can accommodate 2 plates and provides reliable protection covering more than 0.4㎡ of the body. The Mesh body promotes the circulation of breathability even when sweating. A large surface area of ​​laser-cut MOLLE panels allows for flexible choice of all the equipment you will need.
