Who is Leonidas?
This is the legendary king of Sparta who owes his reputation and notoriety to the battle at Thermopylae, against the Persians, whom he heroically opposed. Battle during which he found his tragic end . The Spartan way of life was known to be complex and intense, it was characterized by iron discipline, deprivation but above all, it involved learning the art of combat. It therefore goes without saying that the typical Spartan sword is an imposing and dangerous weapon.
The broad blade of this sword has been made from 1045 carbon steel and is coated in black, as well as having a wide sharpened bevel. The sturdy hand guard on the handle is shaped like an open support and prevents your hand from slipping on the blade or losing the sword during combat.
This is a decorative or collectible sword, not suitable for use.
