The Honshu Boshin double-edged sword combines tradition and innovation to create a masterpiece of modern sword design.
The sword features a 30 inch long blade made of 1060 high carbon steel, which is unmatched in sharpness and strength.
Swapping traditional attributes for sleek contemporary style, the Boshin is an undeniably modern weapon. Textured TPR surrounds the handle for an ergonomic, non-slip grip, and the handle is crowned with an oversized polished steel pommel. The guard forgoes fanciful ornamentation in favor of a practical, pointed ellipse-shaped design.
In keeping with the clean, functional pattern of the Boshin saber, the scabbard is made of wood with a semi-gloss black finish and features a black faux leather wrap and cotton cord.
