With the Blackout Combat Sword, United Cutlery has succeeded in masterfully combining tradition and innovation. This sword is a modern take on an iconic and proven United States Marine Corps (USMC) combat sword design. And since this sword is an officially licensed product of the USMC, you can be confident of its longevity!
The thin, sharp AUS-6 stainless steel tanto blade has many of the features that true fans of traditional Marine combat sabers particularly know and appreciate: the classic non-reflective black coating , widened groove, partial serration and USMC marking . To this day, this proven blade model has proven itself on the battlefields of this world and in the wild.
But it's not just the blade that offers special features. As an aesthetic nod to the symbolic hilt of the traditional USMC combat sword, which is covered in leather cords, the Blackout's hilt is surrounded by five green stripes. However, the similarities end there, at least when it comes to the handle.
To meet the specific tactical requirements and survival challenges of the modern era, the Blackout sword's state-of-the-art injection-molded hilt has been adapted for our times. It is extremely durable and has a textured, rubberized surface structure that ensures optimal slip resistance, even when wet or in other adverse conditions.
In the middle of the handle is a USMC-Insertion button and on top of this button is a handy window breaker , an additional modern feature that could prove vital if you (or your ilk) were to free yourself from a accident vehicle or a burning building.
A heavy-duty black nylon sheath with USMC embroidery is included.

Épée très bien équilibrée légère et maniable je l'utilise pour ma pratique de Lame vivante dans les arts martiaux j'en suis très content
Bonne prise en main , le fourreau est solide, l'épée a la bonne longueur pour être portée dans le dos, la lame est affûtée, sans gros défauts à part au niveau de la gouttière ou il y a une légère déformation mais la lame est bien droite quand même, très belle réalisation avec une poignée avec un bon grippe et confortable, bien en main, satisfait de mon achat et reçu rapidement
