Cold Steel Cold Steel Sword
The colichemarde appeared in the world of swordsmanship during the 1600s following the decline of the medieval sword.
This marked the beginning of small swords, more maneuverable and livelier.
The colichemarde has a uniquely shaped blade; a strong extra-wide for maximum strength, and which is refined on the rest of the blade to finish in a point.
The advantage of this sword was that it made it possible to counter the costs of heavier weapons without the risk of breaking, while being more manageable, and having the enormous advantage of being able to pierce quickly thanks to its tip.
It is the ancestor of the rapier
The colichemarde has great versatility whether in attack or defense.
So we enlisted the help of our brave friend Dave Baker to make a modern version of this sword.
The handle is surrounded by a double quillon, in Italian guard recognizable thanks to its curved rings and volutes.
The pommel on which the quillon is fixed ensures maximum balance and increases the maneuverability of this already perfect sword.
