This model has been convincing fans around the world for several years now thanks to its different designs and has now reached the status of a true icon. This tactical combat knife was designed by Colonel Rex Applegate . This elite soldier carried out clandestine operations throughout Europe during the war and even served as President Franklin D. Roosevelt's personal guard. He trained with him the special forces in hand-to-hand combat and is the founder of the “school of spies and assassins” in Camp David, which is still in use today. A few years later , he decided to write a number of books on hand-to-hand combat techniques and set out to design the ideal combat knife.
This version is smaller than the Boker Applegate Fairbairn and is therefore more maneuverable, but follows exactly the same design as the original version. It has a plastic handle that has been reinforced with fiberglass with built-in stainless steel weights that fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. Additionally, the brass toggle provides added security and the blade has been made from 440C steel.
