The Nordic Dragon knife was designed as a historic classic knife from the Viking Age. It has a wide blade and a Scandinavian edge. This very sturdy knife is made with a steel tang and hickory handle engraved with a Norse dragon, which also increases grip.
Dating back to Norse mythology, the Vikings fought and conquered with great prowess, inspired by the belief that those who died in battle traveled to Valhalla when they died.
This knife was in a way the utility blade of the ancients. It has been used for just about everything from cutting to slicing and sometimes stabbing. The blade of the Condor Norse Dragon Knife is made of 1095 carbon steel. A very strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can be put to severe strain.
Carbon steel is not corrosion resistant, regular cleaning to preserve the durability and quality of the knife is necessary.
The knife comes with a durable, finely stitched leather sheath with a matching embossed design and belt loop. Inside the case there is a plastic insert. This prevents the knife edge from damaging the sheath.
