The Warcraft Tanto series represents Cold Steel®'s latest concepts in modern military tactical tanto design. Each Tanto Warcraft is made from the highest quality American CPM 3V steel, with a flat-ground primary cutting edge and a chisel-ground secondary bevel, both hand-sharpened to a breathtaking edge. The intersection of these two blade bevels (the Yakote) forms a terribly effective secondary point which allows for devastating rapid cutting.
The Warcraft is coated with a DLC (Diamond Like Coating) coating that makes it highly resistant to rust and scratches, while reducing glare and minimizing friction.
The thick full tang is encased in 3D-machined G-10 scales, making the Warcraft series comfortable and safe in the hand, very reliable as a life-saving combat knife.
Comes with a Secure-Ex® case.
CPM 3V steel
American CPM 3V steel provides an extremely fine cutting edge that is very resistant to chips. In recent years it has proven very popular with custom knife makers. Although expensive, this modern tool steel is surprisingly hard and exceptionally wear-resistant. It is a fine-grained powder steel, whose very uniform microstructure gives it excellent impact resistance and excellent edge retention, making it perfectly suited to large blades that require extreme toughness.
