The Camarguais trident forged n°10 knife is entirely hand-assembled in an artisanal and authentic manner by experts in the trade, located in the heart of the Gard village of Bezouce, between Nîmes and the Pont du Gard.
The Trident, the Guardians' essential tool for working with the bulls, is forged from the mass. With a grinding technique that gives the blade a perfect edge. The plates, spring and back of the blade are decorated with fine guilloche patterns specific to each product. Each Le Camarguais knife is therefore a unique piece!
Available with 3 different woods:
- Made from olive wood, the Olive tree is a fruit tree that produces olives, a fruit consumed in various forms and from which one of the main edible oils, olive oil, is extracted. This is the variety, domesticated for several millennia and cultivated mainly in regions with a Mediterranean climate, it is also used to make very beautiful knives.
- Made of ram's horn, it is solid, robust and soft to the touch.
- Based on Cade, this wood is also sometimes called Oxycedar Juniper, Prickly Cedar, Small Cedar or Oxycedar. The juniper is a small tree that lives in the Mediterranean coastal region, it is one of the characteristic plants of scrubland and maquis. It gives off a very pleasant smell that does not fade over time.
