Created by custom knife maker Andrew Demko, the Cold Steel® Tiger Claw is full of innovative ideas!

The blade was designed following extensive testing by Andrew Demko. When he developed his own multi-purpose work knives, he created a hybrid karambit/hawkbill blade capable of cutting rope, cable, wire, and anything else his vocation threw at it. This knife served him well through years of heavy use and when Cold Steel® asked him to develop his own version of a folding karambit, this blade shape immediately came to mind.

Replicating Andrew's original blade design, but made from premium American alloy steel*, the Tiger Claw delivers the tactical performance of the Filipino and Indonesian combat karambit, combined with the utility and function of a utility knife. work.

With the thumb groove, the Tiger Claw allows for quick, ambidextrous draw from the pocket, in a traditional karambit grip, deploying the blade with lightning ease.

Crafted in his trademark minimalist style, the Demko Tiger Claw features a slim, CNC-machined G-10 handle, black aluminum pommel ring, and Cold Steel®'s exclusive Tri-Ad® lock.

* Carpenter American CTS® XHP is a high carbon and high chromium powder alloy steel with very impressive edge holding capabilities. With a uniform and very fine grain structure, it far outperforms its ingot steel counterparts. This high-performance steel has been used in everything from premium custom kitchen cutlery to surgical tools. It can also be polished to a beautiful satin finish, making it an excellent choice for high-end everyday use knives, especially those that require a very fine edge.
