The Boker Plus AKS-74 Stubby Swiss Edition folding knife from the Kalashnikov series is certainly one of the most popular small models in the Boker range.
With ergonomics that provide maximum control for larger hands or more powerful use, the Plus AKS-74 Stubby is the first choice for anyone who appreciates plenty of power and compactness in a knife.
The compact dimensions make it possible to offer a version with a minimally shortened 48 mm D2 blade, which also complies with current (Swiss or Californian) weapons legislation.
This only authorizes switchblade knives with a maximum total length of twelve centimeters, with a maximum blade length of five centimeters. The computer-coated black aluminum handle is strongly reminiscent of the bayonet of the famous assault rifle, and the embossed textured panels also ensure a secure grip in any situation. When I found this knife, I was looking for a small pocket knife to carry with me as a multi-tool. It had to be able to be opened with one hand and an automatic knife was well suited, and its reduced size made it less aggressive in the public eye.
The construction is very solid, the blade is very sharp, and the spring is powerful for the size. In fact, you really need to have a good grip on the handle before releasing the blade. The spring is so strong that the knife opens with enough force that the knife won't slip out of your hand. This happened to me the first two times I opened it.
The pocket clip is so rigid that it is almost impossible to get it over the edge of a pocket, the good part is that it is very difficult for it to slip out of your pocket.
It is so compact that it practically disappears in your pocket.
