The 317 Weekender™ is Benchmade's rediscovered version of a traditional interlocking multi-blade pocket knife, designed for your favorite weekend adventures. Featuring CPM-S30V steel, the Weekender™ features a drop-point main blade, a smaller drop-point utility blade, and a folding bottle opener - everything you need to get your tasks done camp and enjoy a cold drink by the fire. Whether hewing wood or preparing the day's catch, the 317 Weekender™ is an urban, camping-ready jack-of-all-trades.

The Benchmade Weekender is a modern take on the classic model, the Weekender uses steel liners, composite scales and CPM-S30V stainless steel blades for modern performance with a timeless feel. Two blades provide versatile utility, a saber tip for heavy duty work and a flat tip for fine work. A rear lining also houses the essential bottle opener. This version comes with blades engraved with the Benchmade logo

Blades: The symmetrical handle houses two stone-washed S30V blades at each end of the handle, both resting on phosphor bronze washers. The clip tip measuring less than 8 cm is sharpened like a saber for durability, while the spear blade measuring less than 5 cm is sharpened flat for optimal slicing. The bottle opener is on the back of the knife.

Handle: Simple contoured G10 scales to steel liner construction for a strong, secure and comfortable grip. The symmetrical design is ergonomic for the use of both blades with subtle guards for added safety as well as half-stop sliding joint operation.

CPM-S30V: A PM stainless steel developed specifically for use in knife blades, S30V has good resistance to wear (edge retention) and corrosion, better than 440C or 420HC. The powder coating process refines the grain, improving performance for balanced blade steel. Toughness is comparable to other PM stainless steels.
