The characteristics of the Satre make it a fixed and pocket knife, the crucial choice of materials allows it to be light and incredibly resistant . Thanks to these different advantages , it can be used in various activities and areas , particularly for survival and bushcraft , or for an EDC kit.
It was designed and produced in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced FISSS instructor (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival).
Its size and weight mean that it can be carried as a neck knife thanks to its Paracord 550 lanyard. It is also possible to hold it vertically with the handle turned downwards. The Kydex sheath has eyelets , allowing you to add the lanyard and accessory holder.
Its qualities make it an exceptional tool and provide hardness , resistance to wear and tenacity to its user.
The Satre is available in three distinct models with two different types of steel: The versions Black And Stone Washed are manufactured from heat-treated Böhler N690 steel, providing hardness of 58 HRC . This material was chosen for its resistance to oxidation , for the effectiveness of its cutting edge over time and especially for its reliability , which continues to be proven over the years.
While the Satre Black S600 is designed from of Böhler S600 steel .
He has remarkable features in terms of hardness , wear resistance and of tenacity thanks to the presence of different chemical elements.
The Satre S600 is heat and cryogenically treated to result in a extraordinary Rockwell hardness, 64 HRC . This also makes it very resistant to wear and offers to long-lasting sharpness .
For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK finish . For his significant hardness and his resistance to wear and abrasion .
