The Prodigy knife is small, but it packs just as much punch as a larger one.
Made from 420HC stainless steel, the Gerber Prodigy knife is respected by those who use it just for fun as well as those in survival situations, camping, hiking, bushcrafting, etc. The Prodigy knife is full tang which means it is a solid piece that is virtually impossible to break, very sturdy and ceramic coated for increased resistance to corrosion and wear.
The ergonomic overmolded rubber handles ensure a soft, comfortable and secure grip in all conditions, even the wettest. A window breaker on the handle is included.
The knife also feels well balanced when it's in your hand, and it doesn't feel heavy. It is a pleasure to use and you will not feel tired during long use.
It is also MIRS compliant. Just like the knife, the sheath is designed to be up to the task, with a thumb friction lock for safety. Noise is dampened with a molded softgrip cover that, like the ballistic nylon material, is MIRS compliant. It is also MOLLE compatible and comes with a leg strap.
