Sharp and solid blade

A razor-sharp blade with a razor-sharp tip, built-in fire starter and diamond sharpener make the Bushcraft Survival Carbon II the ultimate bushcraft knife. The 3.2 mm thick carbon steel blade has a black DLC coating, which protects it from rust and prevents blade reflections. The back of the blade has been specially ground for use with the magnesium fire starter. Remember that carbon steel needs some maintenance, so make it a habit to wipe your knife and oil the blade after using it.

Getting started

As soon as you hold the Bushcraft Black Carbon knife in your hand, you feel like you are holding a robust full-tang blade knife capable of meeting any challenge.

The rubberized handle fits your hand like a glove and provides a secure grip for any outdoor task you'll need to tackle.

There are also palm reinforcements in all strategic areas of this handle, making it the most comfortable fixed blade I own.

The blade

The blade is also noticeably thicker on the Bushcraft Black than on the other blades (companions, classics, etc.). The Bushcraft Black also has 90° dorsal edges (which makes it perfectly suited to firesteels).

The carbon steel blade has a black DLC (Diamond like Coating) coating that protects it against rust and also prevents blade glare. Note that carbon steel must be maintained, get in the habit of wiping your knife and oiling the blade after using it.
