Gary Groves is a fan and illustrious maker of old-school knives. His hobby was walking in nature and his passion for knives was passed down from his father through a gift he gave him, he heartily gave him a hand forged knife from a old saw blade when he was younger. After he was posted to Vietnam, Gary began working in the coal mines as a miner and because of the excessive workload, he struggled to pursue his hobby. After a serious accident in the mine in 2002, he found himself unable to work and decided to retrain in knife manufacturing. In no time it will become an integral part of the classic cutlery scene. Additionally, his works can be frequently admired in various magazines.
It had an appeal for bowies and classic fighters and this is perfectly reflected in this limited model Collection 2019. Its imposing blade gives a quite particular dynamism, and the handle is slightly curved. The guard has generous dimensions, which gives the knife a distinctive and effective grip. THE ricasso on the back of the blade not only minimizes its weight, but also perfects its balance and highlights the details of this model. A micarta cloth is used to cover the handle , black and burgundy in color , with finely polished finishes.
The blade was made from 440C and is highly polished, just like the stainless steel guard . This model is limited to 1,999 copies worldwide. This knife will come to you with a premium leather sheath in an exclusive collector's box and with a certificate of authenticity.
