TRI outdoor knife - Schnitzel

Schnitzel has once again put a lot of effort into the development and proudly presents the Schnitzel "TRI", a versatile knife designed for all kinds of outdoor activities such as camping, bushcraft, hiking, etc.

The "TRI" complements the "UNO" and "DU" children's and youth models, so that the whole family, young and old, is now perfectly equipped with a good tool for joint activities in nature.

The versatile “TRI” model is available in two versions. An olive green version, which is equipped with a black blade and has a tactical look, and a bright orange version, which is equipped with a stonewashed blade and is therefore extremely visible.

Blade Features

With its 10.4 cm long blade, the “TRI” is a compact outdoor knife with a good size to master all tasks with complete peace of mind. The drop point blade has a raised flat grinding wheel, which ensures both good cutting properties and robustness.

The Swedish Sandvik 14C28N (58-60 HRC) stainless steel used here is perfectly suited for "TRI" purposes, and the 4mm blade thickness allows the knife to perform its tasks with ease. Plus, the spine is angular enough to hit a firesteel and start a campfire. It also features effective jimping that extends well into the front grip area and provides your thumb with a secure grip, even when working in wet conditions or wearing gloves.

Handle characteristics

The handle of the "TRI" is made of sturdy, non-slip G-10. Its ergonomics ensure a secure grip in different positions. The knife handle shells are secured with so-called chain ring screws and can be easily opened using an M6 Allen key or Allen key in order to clean the "TRI" if necessary.

Scabbard Features

The Kydex sheath, ultra-robust and weather-resistant. It is designed to be Molle compatible and has a multiple mounting system on the back to carry the knife, for example on the backpack or on the belt (horizontal / vertical).

A pronounced, ergonomic thumb recess on the top allows the knife to slide comfortably out of its sheath in all situations.
