Nimbus was ordered and adopted by the famous 183rd Regiment Nembo (Airborne) revising the well-known Model 39-09. This knife celebrates the Battle of Case Grizzano which took place on April 19, 1945 between Nembo's paratroopers and the Fallschirmjäger Green Devils of the German 1st Division, an extremely cruel and bloody 12-hour hand-to-hand blade skirmish.
Although World War II was going to end in a few days and a third of the paratroopers fell on the battlefield, Nembo won this fierce battle. NIMBUS is much more than a model celebrating an event, the knife has been developed from a technical point of view to be truly used by a modern combat operator.
Particular attention has been paid to technical characteristics such as dimensions, shape and the kydex sheath so that it can be worn in different tactical ways. The tactical blade is lightweight and compact for easy use by an experienced operator.
