Speaking about the knife design process, designer Jesper Voxnaes said: "My goal was to make a California legal automatic knife that would look good, feel great, and work great as an EDC folding knife. That means a blade a little less than 5cm... small but gentle, and always useful!
This push-button automatic knife is a great addition to your everyday gear. It features a Japanese AUS-8 steel drop point, an ergonomic aluminum handle designed to allow the user to grip and control the knife, and a longer pocket clip for easy carrying and easy concealment.
The Kompakt features a blue anodized aluminum pivot inlay and rear spacer that give it a subtle pop of color. This small folding knife is ideal for anyone who likes their equipment to be subtle and discreet. It is an ideal knife to slip into a pocket to go to work or for unforeseen situations.
They are mainly used for survivalism, for defense in certain countries as well as in case of danger if for example you have a strap or a belt to cut.
- Its Japanese stainless steel blade AUS-8 is recognized in the world of cutlery as being an excellent steel. It is composed of carbon, chromium, vanadium and molybdenum. These allow the blade to resist corrosion and wear. You can easily carry out a series of everyday tasks for your outdoor activities without the blade becoming dull. Its estimated hardness is 59 HRC .
- Its aluminum handle is renowned for its lightness. At the end of its handle there is a strap passage. You can hang it and carry it wherever you want.
When you are going to maintain your knife we recommend ceramic stones to obtain the best sharpening.
