Reduced in weight and more compact in dimensions, these are quite capable and versatile mission knives for the professional user.
The sturdy 17.4 centimeter long and 6 millimeter thick bowie-style blade is suitable for a wide range of applications. For high cutting resistance and resilience of the blades, the well-known D2 tool steel with a hardness of 59 Rockwell (HRC) was chosen.
The stonewashed finish creates a scratch-resistant surface and also increases the corrosion resistance of the blade. Strong, fully-tempered tang carries the tough black G-10 handle scales. An elaborate, three-dimensional milled surface provides an excellent and secure grip on the Tactical Eight.
The distinctive and also rounded finger groove in front of the guard allows for forward grip for more powerful or finer work. A concealed hole at the end of the handle provides the option to mount a lanyard (included).
The Kydex® sheath of the Tactical Eight is equipped with the efficient and removable belt adapter. Extremely robust nylon and Kydex® with a material thickness of 2.5 millimeters form the basis of a sophisticated and durable carrying system that meets the high demands of a tactical mission knife in practice. The Kydex® sheath of the new Tactical Eight is also equipped with a special insert, as is the principle at Pohl Force, to reduce scratches on the blade and allow silent drawing.
