Tactical Eight BK fixed blade knife - Pohl Force

Based on the famous MK-9, designer Dietmar Pohl developed the new Tactical Nine BK. Lighter and more compact, the two models nevertheless remain versatile and efficient mission knives for professionals.

The robust 20 centimeter long and 6 millimeter thick blade is suitable for a wide range of applications. The well-known D2 tool steel with a hardness of 59 Rockwell (HRC) was chosen to ensure high cutting resistance and blade wear.

The black TiN coating reliably prevents light reflections. Strong, fully-tempered tang carries the tough black G-10 handle scales. Thanks to Pohl Force's staircase-shaped handle design and the characteristic three-dimensional milled surface of the handle scales, this knife offers an excellent and secure grip.

The distinctive and also rounded finger groove in front of the guard allows for forward grip for more powerful or finer work. A concealed hole at the end of the handle offers the possibility of mounting a lanyard (included).

The Tactical Series Kydex® sheaths feature the proven removable belt adapter. Extremely robust nylon and Kydex® with a material thickness of 2.5 millimeters form the basis of a sophisticated and durable carrying system that meets the high demands of a tactical mission knife in practice.

An adjustable leg strap with plug-in closure allows it to be secured to the operator's thigh (removable when not in use). The elastic zone integrated into the strap ensures a high level of comfort.

The Kydex® sheath of the new Tactical Nine is also equipped with a special insert, as is the case for the Pohl Force, to reduce scratches on the blade and allow silent drawing.

Care Instructions

The Tactical Nine's blade is made from D2 (1.2379) tool steel, which has enormous cutting capacity, but requires some basic maintenance due to its 11.8% chromium content. Corrosion can occur without proper maintenance. For prevention, the knife should be cleaned, dried and re-oiled regularly to prevent rust and corrosion. Especially when the knife comes into contact with uncertain substances or acidic liquids or marine environment.
