Designer Dietmar Pohl has developed a series of extremely robust and very compact knives for everyday use.
The focus is on the Compact One's massive 88 millimeter long classic Bowie blade , which is designed to be enormously strong at 6 mm thick. For high cutting resistance and resilience of the blade, the choice fell on the well-known D2 tool steel. The stonewashed finish creates a scratch-resistant surface and also increases the blade's resistance to corrosion.
The reduced design of the handle is the basis of the very compact size of the knife. The pleasantly rounded tang and the well-designed finger recesses, combined with the also CNC-milled handle scales from G-10, enable a good and safe hand position. The characteristic milling of the front part of the handle serves as an index finger and a support point for the thumb.
The Compact One SW is equipped with a high-quality, robust Kydex® sheath . The Tac-Clip belt adapter, which can be mounted in different positions, allows for flexible and secure wearing.
