Specificities
Nitecore charging accumulators (called accumulators) are rechargeable batteries used to power the majority of the brand's lamps. They will also be widely used in the field of vaping and e-cigarettes.
Nitecore products are designed to accommodate Nitecore batteries; Using batteries is possible, but varying their sizes and changing them more frequently can damage the lamp mechanism. It is therefore recommended to use Nitecore batteries to preserve the mechanism and ensure optimal performance.
Nitecore batteries remain compatible with other products. They are slightly longer because they are equipped with protection, which prevents the battery from overheating.
The batteries are recharged either using a charger or directly with a USB port if it is integrated (with an R at the end of the product reference: NL1826R). Rechargeable batteries with an integrated USB port can also be powered using chargers. One of the most notable advantages of lithium-ion batteries, apart from their light weight, is their self-discharge rate which is less than 1% per month.
Nitecore batteries are renowned for their performance. Intelligently designed, Nitecore lithium batteries comply with current external and internal safety standards. The IC protection circuits are manufactured by Seiko (Japanese company), and have CE, UL and Rohs certifications. Nitecore batteries therefore have high-performance circuit protection and are made with safe, corrosion-resistant materials and are nonetheless environmentally friendly: being rechargeable, the carbon footprint is low. With more than 500 recharge cycles guaranteed, they will save you money compared to standard batteries. Their operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C. Other batteries can withstand much lower temperatures like the NL1829LTHP.
