The yatagan or yataghan is a type of Ottoman knife or short saber used from the mid-16th to the late 19th century.
It was used in Ottoman Turkey and areas of the Balkans and the Caucasus.
APOC is inspired by this story to design this sword by focusing on its pragmatic side and thus goes to the essential: the effectiveness of the cut .
It was manufactured with intensive use in mind. This massive, sharp blade falls between the long knife category and the short sword category, with a total length of 43.18 cm.
Its 9260 steel blade is slightly curved and has an oxidized black coating. It is capable of making clean and powerful cuts , even with one hand.
Its handle, meanwhile, is made from G10. It is a durable and sturdy fiberglass fabric.
This sword proves to be very durable due to its manufacturing purpose. It has a good cut for its size. It remains discreet and easy to store in its sheath, compared to other tactical swords.
