Airsoft

Airsoft very quickly became a sport but also a leisure activity in which players use replicas of more or less popular firearms, which propel small plastic balls with a diameter of 6mm and a weight of up to from 0.12 to 0.58g.

The firing power of a replica can reach up to two Joules, depending on the model. For the propulsion of the balls, the replicas can use a compressed air system, gas or CO 2  pressurized, batteries, or for “ spring ” models, a simple spring .

At the beginning, these replica weapons were manufactured to be used for target shooting or to build a collection . Enthusiasts then decided to use them during a team sporting activity, the goal being to eliminate the entire opposing group to win the game.
