A little history
This style of US cap, short flat top visor comes from the US Army regulation cap, worn by Union soldiers during the American Civil War which took place from 1861 to 1865.
The soldiers of the North actually wore a navy blue cap derived from the kepi.
The short visor provided protection from the sun, while not spoiling the field of vision during shoulder fire.
This type of cap is still in use for soldiers in the American army.
Today we offer you a stylish cap, a civilian version with an urban and casual style.
